\u201cOn August 9, we have the opportunity to take a rambling ride to Doylestown, Pa.\u00a0 Home of Henry Mercer\u2019s Fonthill Castle.\u00a0 Upon arrival there will be a one hour guided tour that costs $20.\u00a0 After the tour, it is under 6 miles to Peddler\u2019s Village for lunch.\u00a0 We can give an ETA for lunch if you would like to skip the castle tour.\u00a0 With an increased need for crafts and trades, Fonthill provides a window into the precursor to the industrial revolution and impress upon us why skilled trades are the quiet backbone of the modern United States economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n
