SUMMARY:Chapter Ride to the Ride - Pulmonary Fibrosis Charity Ride
DESCRIPTION:HRC Darren Paxton will lead a “ride to the ride” to Lake Hopatcong Elks to support our own Mark “Meatball” Bishop’s charity ride for Pulmonary Fibrosis.  The date is September 19th and riders will depart the Dealership for the trip to Lake Hopatcong Elks in Mt. Arlington.  Riders will depart Garden State at 8:30AM and arrive at 9:15AM.  Cost for the ride is $20.  Registration ends at 10AM and the charity ride departs at 10:30AM.  Help support Mark Bishop and this worthwhile charity event.

DESCRIPTION:A big thank you to everyone who signed up for this year’s Leaf Peepers Run to Williamsport\, PA! We are officially FULL.\nI’m really looking forward to spending a few days riding through the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside with everyone. It should be a great trip\, with plenty of scenic roads\, good riding\, good food\, and\, of course\, hopefully some great fall foliage along the way. \nFor those who weren’t able to get in this year\, I’m sorry we couldn’t accommodate everyone. If this trip goes as planned\, I’m hoping to put together another Leaf Peepers-style motorcycle trip next year and perhaps make it a regular fall tradition. \nThanks again to everyone who signed up. Now let’s hope Mother Nature cooperates and gives us some great colors and great riding weather! 🍁🏍️ \nSee you on the road! \nDates: September 25–27\, 2026 (3 days / 2 nights) \nOur base camp for the trip will be Williamsport\, Pennsylvania\, with accommodations at the historic Genetti Hotel. \nA group rate of $120 per night plus taxes has been negotiated. The rate includes a hot breakfast buffet\, Wi-Fi\, free parking\, 48-hour cancellation policy with no penalty. \nThis flexible cancellation policy provides riders with peace of mind should the weather not cooperate. The hotel also features an outdoor pool and fitness center\, and its downtown location places numerous restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Local favorites include Bullfrog Brewery and The Brickyard Restaurant & Ale House. \nDay One will feature an approximately 235-mile ride to Williamsport with several comfort stops along the way. Lunch is tentatively planned at the Port Clinton Hotel. Depending on the group’s interest and timing\, possible stops may include Cabela’s and Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson. \nHighlights of the day’s ride will include scenic and twisty Gold Mine Road and Pennsylvania Route 125. \nDay Two promises a full day of adventure\, covering approximately 275 miles through some of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful countryside. \nPlanned highlights include: \n\nHyner View State Park\, where we’ll enjoy spectacular views and watch hang gliders launch from the mountain overlook\nElk Country Visitor Center\nLunch at the Benezette Hotel\nGeorge B. Stevenson Dam\nWharton Tavern for ice cream or a snack\nCherry Springs State Park\n\nCherry Springs State Park is recognized as one of the premier stargazing destinations in the eastern United States and offers some of the darkest night skies on the East Coast. \nRiders will also experience stretches of Pennsylvania Route 44\, widely regarded as one of the best motorcycle roads in Pennsylvania. \nPlans for Day Three are still being finalized\, and additional details will be shared as they become available. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
